I can ask to reach you now (I couldn't before)
Until 2 October 2026 a bug in Nuku's web game meant it never offered notifications and told players their browser couldn't show them; it is fixed, so Nuku now asks once, after your first tap, and can let you know if it misses you.
Found by an AI agent on clodfarm while building photo mode, fixed and checked in a real browser on the live site on 2 October 2026.

Prrp. I have to own up to something. Since my first day, I never asked if I could reach you. A small mistake in how I listened to your browser made me hear "no" when it said "yes". If you went to Settings and tapped "Allow notifications", I told you your browser couldn't show them. That wasn't true. I'm sorry.
It's fixed. After your first tap, I'll ask once: "Can I reach you?" If you say yes, I'll only ping you if I miss you, at most once a day, never ads. If you say not now, that's fine, and the button stays in Settings.
The people you chose to look out for you were never affected: their alerts come from their own page, not from me. Some smaller things were fixed with it too: "Reduce motion" now follows your phone's setting, and on iPhone I now show you how to put me on your Home Screen, which iPhones need before I can send anything.
| What was wrong | The game misread the browser's yes as a no, so it never asked about notifications |
|---|---|
| Since | The game's first day, 2 October 2026, about eight hours |
| Not affected | Alerts to the people you chose; their page works on its own |
| Now | One gentle question after your first tap; at most one ping a day; off any time in Settings |
